Teri Doochin is founder and president of Women in Printing and co-president of Interstate Packaging. In 1982, she launched the label manufacturing division at Interstate Packaging, building the division to a successful and respected leader in today’s packaging marketplace. The quality standards used by Women in Printing are in compliance with industry standards and are configured on the guidelines of ISO 9000 and AIB Packaging – the highest standards in the industry. Ours is a living tradition of environmental conservation and protection. Our facility is housed on a beautiful 25-acre national arboretum campus which includes original trees and vegetation, along with many specimen plantings, extensive landscaping, and a scenic lake that serves several environmental and practical functions.
Ongoing initiatives to preserve and protect the environment are numerous and diverse, both inside and outside our facility. These include:

• Three 14’ x 10’ autonomously phototracking solar panels, the first of their kind in Tennessee, which help supply renewable energy for our facility, reducing our dependence on carbon-based power.
  
  
• UV and water-based inks, which are more earth-friendly than solvent-based inks. Ink suppliers who promote research and implementation of the use of sustainable, environmentally friendly inks.
